Candidates will be selected through based on the following process:

Group Discussion is an elimination stage, where candidates shortlisted from the Group Discussion only will be advanced to the Personal Interview. Mere eligibility will not vest any right on the applicant for being called for the Recruitment Process. The Bank reserves the right for required modifications in the selection process considering the number of applications and decide the number of applicants to be called for the final recruitment. Salary/Compensation for South Indian Bank Junior Officer Recruitment 2026
Total CTC at the time of joining will be Rs.7.85 lakhs per annum.
• Fixed CTC including NPS contribution – Rs.4.49 lakhs
• Variable Pay based on performance – Rs.2.88 lakhs
• Health Insurance Premium paid by the Bank (Coverage Rs.5.25 lakhs) – Rs.0.48 lacs)
Additionally Junior Officers posted under Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune Regions are eligible for special allowance of Rs.10,000/month and who are posted under Ahmedabad Region will be eligible for special allowance of Rs.5000/month after 3 months of active service subject to performance review.
South Indian Bank Junior Officer General Terms of Employment
• Official Duty allowance: For official travel, eligible Lodging allowance, Halting allowance and Travelling expense, as per the bank’s norms.
• Insurance coverage: (i) Group Medical Insurance and (ii) Group Accident Insurance, are provided at the cost of the Bank. Further, Group Life Insurance, is arranged with premium borne by the employee.
• Other allowances, staff loans, perquisites, benefits and other facilities shall not be applicable.
• Increment: Annual increment during the contract period shall be released based on performance evaluation or any other parameters as per bank.

• Applicant must ensure fulfills all the eligibility criteria with respect to age, educational qualifications, work experience etc. If any of the information furnished by the applicant is found to be false at later, the selection / appointment shall be liable for termination.
2. Upper age limit relaxed by five years, only for SC/ST candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST should submit attested copies of certificates to prove their status.
3. Applicants are advised to retain two copies photograph which is used in the application at the time of Recruitment Process.
4. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
