Selection Process for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026
SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) selection process includes Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Local Language Proficiency Test
1. Preliminary Examination
This is the first phase of selection process. Exam will be conducted on subjects of English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude for a full mark of 100 for 100 questions within a duration of 1 hour. There is negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer applicable.
2. Mains Examination
Prelims qualify candidates will appear for Mains exam. This exam covers questions from subjects of English Language, General / Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer knowledge for 190 questions for full mark of 200. Total duration of main exam is 2 hours 40 minutes. Negative Marking is also applicable for each wrong answer of 0.25.
3. Local Language Proficiency Test
There is a local language skills test available in the selection process. Candidates should have local language skills to get selection.
