Eligibility Criteria for PFRDA Grade A Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification (As on 31.07.2026)
General Stream
• Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in any discipline or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or
• ACA/ FCA from ICAI or ACS/ FCS from ICSI or
• ACMA/ FCMA from ICMAI (erstwhile AICWA/ FICWA from ICWAI) or
• CFA from CFA institute.
*(Equivalent to a Master’s Degree in that discipline as recognized by the AIU).
Research Stream
• Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’) in Economics/Commerce/ Administration/Business Econometrics/ Quantitative Economics/ Financial Economics / Mathematical Economics/ Business Economics/ Agricultural Economics/ Industrial Economics/ Business Analytics; or
• Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in Finance/ Quantitative Finance/ Mathematical Finance/ Quantitative Techniques/ International Finance/ Business Finance/ International and Trade Finance/ Project and Infrastructure Finance/ Agri. Business Finance; or

Actuary Stream

Age Limit (as on 31/07/2026)
A candidate must not have exceeded the age 30 years as on July 31, 2026 i.e., candidate must have been born on or after 01 August 1996. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.

Note I: Candidates are permitted to apply for maximum of 2 streams only as per educational qualifications. Separate on-line application for each stream will have to be submitted and requisite fees is to be paid for each such application. If a candidate applies for more than once in a Single Stream and/ or applies for more than 2 Streams, only the last application shall be considered valid and the other shall be summarily rejected. No fee shall be refunded in such cases.
Once application is finally submitted, request for change/ correction in any particulars (including category) in the application form will not be entertained under any circumstances. No correspondence/ phone/ email will be entertained in this regard. Candidates are thus advised to fill up the online application carefully and furnish the correct information in the application.
Note II: The officers recruited are liable to be posted to any department of PFRDA, and are required to perform the duties assigned.
Note III: The candidate must hold a valid degree from any of the recognized Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification from a Foreign University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/Government of India.
Note IV: The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. In case the result of examination is posted on the website of the University/Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.
Note V: Candidates who have appeared for the final qualifying examinations and awaiting their results are eligible to appear in Phase I, Phase II & Phase III of selection process.
Note VI: Any selection/appointment shall be provisional and subject to verification by the Authority of the personal information submitted by the candidates. If information furnished is found at any stage false/incorrect candidature/selection/appointment/confirmation is liable to be cancelled at any stage with PFRDA.

PFRDA Grade A Recruitment 2026 Pay and Allowances
• Probation: Successful candidates will undergo for 2 years probation Period for Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager). The candidates will be confirmed in the services subject to satisfactory performance during the probation period and verification of character and antecedents from the concerned authorities.
• Pay: The pay scale of Officers in Grade ‘A’ is Rs.62500-3600(4)-76900-4050(7)-105250-EB-4050(4)-121450-4650(1)-126100 (17 years).
• Presently, the gross emoluments including National Pension System (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, Family Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance, Learning Allowance and Housing
