Educational Qualification
• General:
° Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum 2 years’ duration) in any discipline or
° Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or
° ACA/ FCA from ICAI or ACS/ FCS from ICSI or ACMA/ FCMA from ICMAI or CFA from CFA Institute.
• Research:
° Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* in Economics/Commerce/ Administration/Business Econometrics/ Quantitative Economics/ Financial Economics / Mathematical Economics/ Business Economics/ Agricultural Economics/ Industrial Economics/ Business Analytics; or
° Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in Finance/ Quantitative Finance/ Mathematical Finance/ Quantitative Techniques/ International Finance/ Business Finance/ International and Trade Finance/ Project and Infrastructure

Age Limit
Candidate must not have exceeded the age of thirty (30) years as on July 31, 2026 i.e., candidate must have been born on or after August 01, 1996. Age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates.

PFRDA Grade A Recruitment 2026 Application Fee
Application fee for Unreserved/GEN, EWS & OBC is Rs. 1,000/- (inclusive of GST). For SC/ST/PwBD & Ex-serviceman candidates fee has been exempted. Application fee is nonrefundable.
PFRDA Grade A Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for PFRDA is consists of three stages as Phase I, Phase II and Phase III. Candidates must qualify each stage to hold the rank.
• Phase I: There is objective type screening exam on English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness and stream specific professional knowledge subjects.
• Phase-II: This is an online descriptive test to test candidates drafting skills. Short-listing will be selected for interview.
• Phase-III: Only Shortlisted will call for interviews. The final selection shall be based on total marks secured in Phase-II and Phase-III weightage of 85% and 15% for PFRDA.
Exam Pattern for PFRDA Assistant Manager 2026
Candidates will appear two online Phase-I and Phase-II exams and shortlisted will be called for interview round.
Phase I Exam for PFRDA
Phase I (paper 1) online exam covers subjects of English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness (financial sector including) for 90 questions within 100 marks and total duration is 60 minutes. For paper 2, General Stream, Research/Actuary/Rajbhasha Stream for 50 questions with 100 msrks and duration is 40 minutes.
Phase-II Exam for PFRDA
This test consists of paper I and paper II. Full mark is 100 for 50 questions.
