Selection Process for IBPS PO Recruitment 2026
IBPS selection process includes Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview.
1. Preliminary Exam
This is online test and subjects include English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Full mark is 100 for 100 number of questions within a duration of one hour only. This marks will not be included in the final merit list.
2. Mains Examination
It is basically subjective and objective type questions. Questions are from subjects Reasoning, English, Computer, Economy, banking, Digital, Data Analysis etc. This mark is important and it will be counted in final merit list. There is negative marking calculation for every wrong answer of 1/4 deduction. For unanswered questions will not be deducted marks.
Pay Scale for IBPS PO Recruitment
Selected candidates will get 48,480 per month of basic pay and maximum basic pay is 85,920 per month. Apart from basic pay, there Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance, Medical Benefits, Pension and Provident Fund, Special Allowance, Leave Travel Allowance (LTA) and other bank-specific benefits.
