1. Valid Mining Sirdarship Certificate of Competency (Un-Restricted) from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for both OC & UG Mines
2. Valid Gas Testing Certificate

For deputy surveyor
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board OR Degree / Diploma in Mining / Mine Surveying Engineering from a recognized Institute
Professional Qualifications: Valid Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (SCC) (Un-Restricted) granted under CMR 2017 or any other mining certificate entitling the applicant to work as Surveyor in mines as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017
Assistant Foreman (Electrical):
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board
