• Qualification for all discipline codes shall be from a recognized University/Institute as a full-time regular course in relevant disciplines.
• Qualification acquired through Part-time / Correspondence / Distance Learning mode shall render the candidate NOT ELIGIBLE for the notified disciplines.
• CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade is awarded in the Class XII//ITI/Degree /Diploma examinations, percentage of marks indicated in the Online Application as per the norms adopted by Board/University/Institute.
• Candidates furnish certificate from the University/Institute equivalent to aggregate percentage of marks to CGPA/OGPA or Letter grade failing which candidature will not be considered.
• Candidates possessing Diploma in Engineering in relevant trade/discipline under a recognized lateral entry scheme (Class XII(Sc)/ITI admitted in 2nd year of Diploma course) shall also be considered eligible subject to meeting prescribed percentage of marks.
• Candidate may undergo maximum two apprenticeship training, and the second training shall not be in the same trade.
• Minimum one year gap between two apprenticeship training. No gap shall be required in the case of termination of previous apprenticeship training due to failure on the part of the employer.

IOCL Western Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Stipend
Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992/2019/2025 as amended from time to time. The amount of stipend has not been specified in the official notification.
IOCL Western Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
• There will be no written Test/Interview. Candidates to register successfully on NAPS/NATS portal shall be considered.
• The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and will have to complete Pre-engagement medical fitness test.
• Merit list of all the candidates who have applied and meeting the notified eligibility criteria shall be prepared based on the percentage of marks secured in the essential qualification.
• Candidates are advised to medically fit as per IndianOil’s pre-engagement medical format. Candidates are advised to go through the “Guidelines and Criteria for physical Fitness for Pre-Engagement Medical Examination”.
• Shortlisted candidates whose documents including Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Certificate are found in order shall be issued offer of Engagement for Apprenticeship Training.
• Opportunities not filled through the initial shortlisting process shall be considered for filling by eligible and qualifying candidates from the panel cum merit list from the same opportunity.

Shortlisted candidates on merit shall be called for Document Verification at any of our units/ office, as decided by the management. Below original documents along with a self-attested copy should be furnished at the Document Verification.
• Xth std /SSLC /Matriculation certificate/mark sheet issued by Education Board as proof of Date of Birth.
• Latest Caste certificate by reserved category candidates in the Performa prescribed by the Govt. and issued by Competent Authority.
• For claiming the benefit of OBC-NCL category, the candidate should submit a latest Caste Certificate (not more than 12 months old from 28.02.2026).
• Semester-wise / Year-wise mark sheets of ITI (NCVET/SCVT) / HSC / Graduation/Diploma in Engineering.

• Copy of first page of Bank passbook of Aadhaar account, Aadhar card, PAN Card, cancelled cheque leaf.
