RITES regular/contract employees fulfilling the educational qualification and experience criteria shall be given age relaxation of 5 years. Relaxation in age shall subject to production of required certificates:
• SC/ST Category: 5 years
• OBC-NCL Category: 3 years
• J&K Domicile: 5 years
• PwBD: 10Years; in addition to the age relaxation permissible for SC/ST/OBC-NCL category candidates, subject to the post being identified suitable for PWD as mentioned. However, relaxation in upper age limit shall be applicable for PwBD candidates irrespective of the fact whether the post is reserved or not, provided the post is identified suitable for PwBDs as per table. PWD candidates will have to meet the Physical Requirements and Functional Classifications which have been identified for Locomotor disability and Hearing Impairment categories
RITES Engineering Professionals Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Cluster-I- Manager and Assistant Manager (written test and interview)
• Written Test: There will be 125 objective type questions, each of 1 mark within duration of 2.5 hours. There is no negative marks. PwBD candidates get 50 minutes’ compensatory time. Qualifying marks: minimum 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts.
• Document Scrutiny: Based on written test results, RITES will scrutinize documents and shortlisted will call for interviews.
• Interview: Weightage: Written Test – 60%; Interview – 40 (Minimum interview marks: 60% for UR/EWS, 50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD against reserved posts. No minimum qualifying marks are required.
Cluster-II- DGM (Interview Only, No written test)
• Document Scrutiny: Documents submitted by candidates will be scrutinized by RITES Limited. Eligible candidates will call for interview.
• Interview: The weightage parameters of interview shall be 100% (Technical & Professional proficiency – 65 %; Personality Communication & Competency – 35 %). A minimum of 60% marks for UR/ EWS and 50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/ PWD against reserved posts). There will be no minimum qualifying mmarksrequired in the aggregate.
Pay Scale for RITES Engineering Professionals Recruitment 2026
The pay would be fixed at the minimum of the scale for selected candidates of DGM Rs. 70,000-2,00,000. Manager: Rs. 50,000–1,60,000; Assistant Manager: Rs. 40,000–1,40,000. In addition to Basic Pay candidates would be paid DA, Fixed/variable allowances as applicable to the scale, Performance Related Pay, Medical facilities, HRA/Lease accommodation, attractive superannuation package consisting of contribution to PF, Gratuity, Post Retirement Medical Scheme. Other benefits are Leaves as per leave rules, Maternity Leave/ Paternity Leave, Medical facility, Group Insurance, Leave Encashment.
