Nationality/Citizenship:
An applicant must either be:-
• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan,

Educational Qualification
• Candidates educational qualification be graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized organization.
• Candidates must possess Valid Mark Sheet/Degree Certificate for confirming that he/she is a graduate, and indicates percentage of marks obtained of graduation

Required Experience
• Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of post-qualification work experience in Clerical/Officer Cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
• One advance increment in pay shall be payable for each completed prior year of service to as an Officer in Scheduled Commercial Banks (subject to a maximum of 2 increments), if exiting job profile of the candidate matches that of a Scale-I Generalist Officer of PNB.
• Proof of prior experience in the prescribed format, must be provided in the Annexures duly certified by the previous employer.
• No prior service/experience will be considered for seniority purposes
• Experience in other financial institutions or organization will not be considered if the job profile / role does not match substantially/ or is different that of a PNB Scale-I Generalist Officer.
Local Language Proficiency Test
Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, & speaking) in the specified local language of the state for which they are applying (mentioned in the state-wise vacancy table). A Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) shall be conducted by an external agency.
Cut-off Dates for Eligibility
• The cut-off date for the purpose of determining age be 01.07.2026
