Selection Process for KSP Recruitment 2026
The selection process for Karnataka State Police includes various stages such as Written Examination, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Endurance Test and final is Medical Examination.
• Written Examination
An online written examination will be conducted by covering subjects such as General knowledge, Current Affairs, Basic Mathematics, Reasoning Ability, Geography and others. Total number of questions will be 100 for 100 marks. And Duration is 90 minutes. There is negative marking for each wrong answer of 0 .25. Examination timing is different for both cadres.
• Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates who completed successfully Written Exam will appear for physical measurement. Both male and female candidates physical measurement will be taken
• Endurance Test (ET/PET)
Under physical efficiency Test, there are long jump, high jump, run, shot put and candidates will have to complete all of these.
• Medical Examination
Candidates who completed above tests successfully will appear for a medical fitness check like visual test, hearing test and musculoskeletal and other check ups.
• Document Verification
Candidates who completed Medical Examination must represent all original documents for verification process
