Selection Process for Karnataka Police Constable Recruitment 2026
Selection Process consists of multiple stages such as Written Examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Document Verification, Final Merit List
1. Written Examination
An OMR based Written test will there of 100 questions for 100 marks. Candidates must secure 30 marks to qualify for next round. Questions will be objective-type and asked from mental ability, history, geography, nationality freedom fighter movement, science, Indian Constitution.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
Height and measurement are different for both male and female candidates. Male candidates height must be 168 cm where as female and third gender candidates should be minimum of 157 cm of height with a weight of 45 kg.
3. Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Candidates who successfully completed above tests are eligible for Endurance Test. In this stage, candidates running and other physical tasks will be performed.
4. Document Verification
All the original documents will be checked at the time of verification process in this stage.
5. Final Merit List
Final merit list will be prepared based on candidates performance and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
Karnataka Police Constable Recruitment 2026 Salary Details
Candidates who will be appointed as Karnataka Police Constable will receive attractive pay scale for probation period of two years and six months. Pay scale will be Rs. 37, 500 to Rs. 76,100.
