IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Candidates will get selection through Prelims exam, Mains Exam and Local Language Proficiency Test.
1. Preliminary Exam
Online preliminary exam will be conducted and this exam contains a total of 100 marks for 100 questions. Questions will be covered from English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning subjects. There is negative marking for each wrong answer of 0.25.
2. Main Examination
Candidates who clears Prelims will appear for Mains online exam. Subjects to cover are English, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. Full mark is 200 for 160 questions within duration of 125 minutes. Negative Marking is also applicable as Prelims of 0.25 for each wrong answers.
3. Local Language Proficiency
Candidates should have a good local language skill is required.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 Salary
Candidates who will get appointment as Customer Service Associates in participating banks will get attractive monthly pay of Rs. 24.050 basic pay. But in hand pay differs as depending on candidates locations, it is up to Rs. 42,000. Additional allowances and benefits are Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Benefits, Medical Benefits, and other admissible benefits.
