Selection Process for BOI Specialist Officer Recruitment
Selection will be through online test and/or personal interview, depending on the number of applicants/ eligible candidates.
• Scrutiny of Eligibility Criteria:
° Desired candidates are need to upload document in support of relevant professional experience, mandatory certification and education qualifications in support of eligibility criteria as dated 01.08.2026.
° Applications of candidates will be subject to further being shortlisted / rejected solely on the basis of documents uploaded in support of eligibility criteria at the time of registration and no further enquiry /request for submission of documents at later date will be accommodated.
• Online Examination
° English Language – 25 marks (qualifying)
° Marks obtained in English Language will not be added to merit List.
° Professional Knowledge relevant to the post – 100 marks
° Minimum qualifying marks in English Language Test and Professional Knowledge Test will be 35% for General/ EWS candidates and 5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates.
° There is 1/4 mark penalty for each wrong answer.
• Interview
° Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained in online examination will be prepared in descending order for SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ GEN.
° Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview shall be 50% for General/ EWS Category and 45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD.
° Interview will be at the ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies.
° The weightage of Online Examination and interview will be 60:40.
