Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either –
• A Citizen of India or
• A subject of Nepal or
• A subject of Bhutan or

• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Application Fee for Bank of India SO Recruitment 2026

Selection Process for BOI SO
Selection will be through online test and/or personal interview, depending on the number of applicants/ eligible candidates.

Online Exam
• English Language: 25 marks
• Professional Knowledge: 100 marks
• Composite Time: 100 minutes
• English Language will not be added while preparing merit List
• There is penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% for General/ EWS candidates and SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category will be relaxation of 5% marks.
BOI Interview
BOI Interview will be for shortlisted candidates of 100 marks. Minimum qualifying marks in interview shall be 50% for General/ EWS Category and 45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category candidate. Merit list will be based on online examination, the weightage (ratio) of Online Examination and interview will be 60:40.
Bank of India Recruitment 2026 Security Deposit
Selected candidates will be required to deposit a security deposit,which is refundable after 3 years of satisfactory service (the said amount shall be forfeited in ccase if candidates leaves the Bank before completion of 3 years of service)
